We get so engulfed worrying about finance, we don’t realize stress can affect health badly. My point here is that if you can’t think well then you will never be able to find the right solution to your financial issues. That’s why I have come up with the list which will help you relieve stress and get rid of financial problems. Let’s have a look!
1 – Try Meditation – One of the best ways to release stress is meditation. “Spending a few minutes of practice on daily basis makes you resilient to stress,” says psychologist Robbie Maller Hartman.
It is very simple. Just sit up straight on the floor, close your eyes and pay attention to what you are reciting. Recite the positive mantra either loudly or silently but it should be positive like “I will get through this” or “I can do it.” Don’t let negative thoughts come to your mind.
2 – Have a Pep Talk with Yourself – Sometimes all you need is yourself. Talk to yourself, tell yourself the truth, and give your heart hope and courage. Let it sink in so you can find a better solution to whatever financial issue you are facing.
3 – Think About Possibilities – This is the time to be realistic. Consider ways that can help you get rid of loans and debts but don’t be fanatical about it. Be realistic and true to yourself. For instance, if you plan to take a credit consolidation ask yourself questions like “Will I be able to pay it back?” Or “Should I go for this or not?” Think about the realistic possibilities and then approach. You can go for the right choice only if your mind is relaxed so make sure to listen to your favorite songs. Or read a book or watch a movie. In short, do whatever makes you feel better and relaxed.
4 – Deep Breaths Always Work – This is something that you can do anywhere anytime. Whether you are working and start panicking about financial issues or laying in bed and anxiety attacks occur, taking deep breaths always work. According to a psychologist Judith Tutin, “Deep breathing counters the effects of stress by slowing the heart rate and lowering blood pressure.”
Sit up straight, close your eyes, place a hand on your belly and take deep breaths. Breathe in slowly and then breath it out. Do it over and over again. You will feel stress-free and relaxed.
5 – Laugh Out Loud – Laughing is one of the best therapies. It lightens your mood and reduces stress. A hormone cortisol is responsible for stress. When you laugh wholeheartedly, the secretion of endorphins hormone increase which ultimately improves your mood. To laugh out loud, you can chit chat with a friend, watch a funny movie, or read the comics. Anything that you find funny helps you overcome stress.
6 –Try to Sleep Better – We all know that stress causes lack of sleep and you find yourself wide awake at 4 in the morning. Unluckily, lack of sleep causes even more stress. The doctor recommends sleeping at least 8 hours in a day to have a mindful and healthy body. Turn the TV off, dim the lights, or play smooth music before going to bed. This will help you fall asleep with a relaxed mind.
